Hi SOS Members

The response to Michael Duffy's article "TO SAVE THE CITY, FIRST THEY DESTROY IT" has been beyond all expectation. Three letters by SOS members have pride of place in the central section of the Sydney Morning Herald letters page this morning:

• Hugh Knox's courageous letter will certainly give our politicians something to think about, being so hard-hitting that I am amazed it was published;
• Jeanette Tsoulos eloquently ties in the need for councils to retain control of planning power matters;
• Hugh Bennett concisely appreciates MIchael Duffy's common sense and points out what high-density is doing to our city.

The volume of other letters must have helped. Congratulations all round.
